Made from natural cotton and elastane, this fabric is especially pleasant to wear thanks to cotton’s breathable and gentle qualities, while elastane adds a bit of stretch that allows freedom of movement. It is perfect for everyday clothing, children’s clothes, and sportswear as well.

Sewing tips:

When sewing with cotton jersey, it is recommended to use Jersey or Stretch needles, which are specially designed for stretchy fabrics. These needles have a rounded tip, allowing them to glide easily between the knit fibers without damaging the fabric. Needle size usually depends on the thickness of the fabric, but for cotton jersey, commonly suitable sizes are 70/10 or 80/12.
