Gabardine is a classic, durable fabric with a beautiful drape. This premium suiting fabric is an excellent choice for a variety of sewing projects. Its especially sturdy yet lightweight material makes it ideal for both apparel and home textile items.
Garments made from this fabric resist wrinkling and are easy to iron and care for. Suitable for sewing dresses, skirts, trousers, jackets, tablecloths, and curtains.

Sewing recommendations:

Needle type: It is best to use sewing needles with a sharp point, such as universal needles in sizes 70/10 or 80/12.
Thread: Polyester thread is recommended to provide maximum strength and elasticity.
Sewing technique: Polyester fabric is easy to work with and holds seams well, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced sewists.


Care

-Washing: Machine wash at 30°C, gentle cycle.

-Bleaching: Do not bleach.

-Ironing: Iron at low heat.

-Dry cleaning: Dry clean with any solvent except trichloroethylene.

-Drying: Tumble dry on normal cycle with low heat.
