SCHMETZ DPx17 SES industrial sewing machine needles are ideal for fine to medium-fine knits, sportswear and tightly woven fabrics when sewing with a straight stitch (lockstitch) sewing machine. SES or “Light Ball Point” tip is slightly rounded – it pushes aside yarns rather than piercing them, protecting the fabric from damage and creating a smooth, elastic stitch.
