Su natūralios medvilnės ir  elastano sudėtimi šis audinys yra ypač malonus dėvėti, nes medvilnė pasižymi kvėpuojančiomis ir švelniomis savybėmis, o elastanas suteikia nedidelį tamprumą, užtikrinantį judesių laisvę. Jis puikiai tinka kasdieniams drabužiams, vaikų aprangai ir sportinei aprangai. 

Siuvimo patarimai:

Siuvant medvilniniu trikotažu (Jersey), rekomenduojama naudoti Jersey arba Stretch adatas, kurios specialiai sukurtos elastingiems audiniams. Šios adatos turi suapvalintą galiuką, todėl jos lengvai slysta tarp trikotažo pluoštų, nepažeisdamos audinio. Adatos dydis tinkamas yra 70/10 arba 80/12.
