Minkštas, vidutinio plonumo tamprus trikotažo audinys (anglų k. Jersey), jis yra lengvas, kvėpuojantis ir labai malonus odai.

     Trikotažą lengva prižiūrėti ir ji nesiglamžo. Dėl šiek tiek pridėto elastano trikotažo audinys išlaikys formą ir neišsitampys – išsaugodamas gerąsias medvilnės savybes.
     Puikiai tinka laisvalaikio drabužiams, suknelėms, vaikiškiems drabužiams, t-marškinėliams, sportinei aprangai, taip pat kepurėms ir šalikams.

Patarimai siuvant:

Siuvant iš medvilninio trikotažo, rekomenduojama naudoti Jersey arba Stretch adatas jei trikotažas yra labai elastingas, tuomet rekomenduojama naudoti Super Stretch adatas, kurios yra specialiai sukurtos elastingiems audiniams. Šios adatos turi užapvalintą galiuką, todėl jos lengvai slysta tarp trikotažo pluoštų, nepažeisdamos audinio. Adatų dydis paprastai priklauso nuo audinio storio, tačiau medvilniniam trikotažui dažnai tinkami dydžiai yra 70/10 arba 80/12.
